The Develop and Implement Business Plans (BSBOPS601) unit focuses on the skills and knowledge needed for Diploma of Business students to effectively lead a business operation through the process of developing and implementing business plans. It is designed for individuals who hold senior positions and are responsible for ensuring the organization’s success. They may also oversee multiple teams and managers.

The Learner Resource is divided into three elements:

  1. Establishing a business plan
  2. Implementing a business plan
  3. Responding to performance data

Upon completion of this training, you will be required to complete an assessment pack for this unit of competency. You will need to have a supervisor, manager, or assessor observe your performance of project or workplace tasks to verify your competency.

Successful completion of the assessment will demonstrate that you possess the skills and knowledge required to lead a business operation through the process of developing and implementing business plans.
