The Facilitate Performance Development Processes (BSBHRM521) unit  is focused on the skills and knowledge required for Diploma of Business students to create and implement performance development processes, as well as coordinate individual or group learning and development to promote effective employee performance.

It is intended for individuals who have the authority to establish and manage performance development processes for an organization, and who may supervise others.

The Learner Resource for this unit is divided into three elements:

  1. Planning the facilitation of performance development processes
  2. Coordinating the performance development process
  3. Coordinating individual or group learning and development

Upon completion of this training, you will be required to complete an assessment pack for this unit of competency. This will involve performing workplace tasks while being observed by a supervisor, manager, or assessor, who will then verify your competency or performance.

Upon successfully completing the assessment, you will have demonstrated the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively facilitate performance development processes.
