The Support Employee and Industrial Relations (BSBHRM412) unit covers the necessary skills and knowledge for Diploma of Business students to effectively implementing and communicating employee relations (ER) and industrial relations (IR) policies and procedures in order to represent organisations and employers. The unit is applicable to those who work in supportive roles, assisting others in resolving ER and IR issues and conflicts.

  3. Support employee relations
  4. Contribute to continuous improvement

Upon completion of this training, you will be required to undertake an assessment pack for this unit of competency. You will need to seek the assistance of a supervisor, manager, or assessor who can observe your performance of project or workplace tasks and verify your competency.

Successful completion of the assessment will demonstrate that you have the skills and knowledge necessary to support employee and industrial relations.
