Develop and Present Business Proposals (BSBESB302) focuses on the skills and knowledge necessary for Certificate III in Business students to research the feasibility of business ideas, develop proposals for viable options, and present them in formats suitable for various stakeholders. The unit is applicable to individuals who are either establishing or operating a business for self-employment, as well as those establishing new ventures within larger organizations. The proposals may pertain to the products and/or services offered by the business. The Learner Resource for this unit is divided into four elements:

  1. Evaluating business ideas
  2. Managing risks associated with business proposals
  3. Developing proposals for viable business ideas
  4. Presenting business proposals

Upon completing the training, you will be required to undertake an assessment pack for this competency unit. To assess your competence or performance, you will need the support of a supervisor, manager, or assessor who can observe your execution of project or workplace tasks and verify your competency. Successful completion of the assessment indicates that you have demonstrated the necessary skills and knowledge to develop and present business proposals effectively.
